Retirement Announcement    
  

March 10, 2009 The Shelbyville Police Department would like to announce the retirement of Sergeant Charles Kimbril.  Sgt. Kimbril has been with the Shelbyville Police Department since 1994.  He was the assistant supervisor for one of the night shifts.  He preceded his career here, with the Bedford County Sheriff's Department and also the Coffee County Sheriff's Department.  Sgt. Kimbril has instructed several classes in the Spanish language, in order to  assist fellow law enforcement to become familiar with the language.  His plans are currently unknown, but he will be missed by the department.
